Light Dal recipe

Dal is a very common dish at winter time it is full of fibers and plant proteins. It will curb hunger and replenish your minerals and vitamins stores.

Here is a light recipe of Dal that will help you stay in shape while enjoying this nice dish.

Ingredients:

Dal lentils

carrots

sweet potatoes

organic zucchini

light coconut milk

gurum masala

coconut oil

onions

Himalayan salt

Fry onions with cumin,coriander,salt and coconut oil.

Add water and boil lentils with 2 tbsps of gurum masala.

Add carrots and sweet potatoes. Keep zucchini till the end.

Add coconut milk and boil on  low temperature.

Serve with whole wheat chapatti or oat bread.

Coconut and sweet potato Dal

Ingredients:

Moong Dal

Sweet potato

Gurum Masala

cumin seeds

coriander

ginger

sliced onion

himalayan salt

organic coconut cream

1 tbsp coconut oil

 

Boil lentils with gurum masala and ginger.

Fry sliced onions with coconut oil and spices.

Boil and mash sweet potato.

Add lentils,mashed sweet potato and coconut cream and boil at low temperature with a pinch of himalayan salt.

Enjoy your hearty dal!

Feta bowl

Ingredients:

Feta cheese

Chia gluten free wafers

organic cucumbers

oregano

organic tomatoes

organic walnuts

Organic olive oil

Bake Feta

Place tomatoes ,cucumbers crushed walnuts and olive oil at the bottom of the bowl.

Place baked Feta on top and sprinkle oregano.

Decorate the borders of the bowl with wafers and enjoy!

Cumin and lemon grass carrot soup

Ingredients:

1 pack of organic baby carrots

1 organic coconut milk can

1 tbsp cumin

1 tsp coriander

1/2 Ginger root

2 lemongrass sticks

1/2 tsp Himalayan salt

30 g onion

1 tbsp Peanut oil

3  organic zucchini

15 g roasted pine nuts

Fry onion with peanut oil and spices at low temperature then add some carrots, leave for 4 minutes.

Add coconut milk and cover to boil.

Add the rest of the carrots with ginger and lemongrass and keep for 20 minutes.

Blend all ingredients and place the roasted pine nuts on top.

Enjoy this heart warming diner!
