date and walnuts tart gluten free

Date and walnut gluten free pie

For the paste:

1 cup gluten free flour

1/4 cup organic butter

1 tbsp cane sugar

cold water to mix

For the filling:

80 g finely chopped walnuts

40 g finely chopped dates

1/2 cup cane sugar

1 cup milk mixed with 2 tbsp of corn starch

1/3 cup of butter

Mix flour,butter and sugar until a dough forms.

Lie dough on a baking dish.

Heat for 20 min at 160 C.

Heat milk, sugar and butter.

Allow to blend in at low temperature.

Add dates and walnuts and until the filling thickens.

Place filling on top of the pie crust and heat at 150 C for 45 minutes.
