KC’s Pasta tuna salad

if you are a carb lover you can go for this salad, i use organic tuna filets and whole wheat pasta. You can add all the veggies you like . I chose cucumbers ,lettuce and tomatoes with a lemon oil vinaigrette. It is a salad that is filling and easily customized.

it is a very good idea for lunch or diner as it has a low glycemic index and is suitable for diabetics and weight loss. It is considered a complete meal with vegetables, carbohydrates , proteins and fats (pasta, tuna olive oil and veggies).

Organic products

I believe that some organic products are essential for our health such as meat, chicken poultry even beauty products such as ;lipsticks and creams because they do not contain hazardous chemicals that might impair our hormonal balance.

However some cereal boxes might contain dangerous substances such as ink residues from recycled news papers and are to be considered when purchasing organic groceries.

A new concept emerged which consists on bringing your own container to the organic shop and filling it with the products you need by lowering the chances of being affected by poisonous residue from recycling.

Protein bars

Protein is essential for muscle recovery after workout. The amino acids present in proteins help your body regenerate muscle tissue thus repairing the microscopic muscle tears that occurred during workout.

In addition to that supplying your body with essential nutrients before workout also helps you perform better.

You can have your protein bar before or after exercising.
