pancakes

Pancakes are a good breakfast idea specially if they are paired with organic honey and berries. Chocolate pastes and creams are to be avoided for balanced meals as they are high in fat and sugar.

Whole wheat flour are a good option in pancake recipes to make it nutritious and healthy. Adding walnuts and fruits with a low fat yogurt will turn your meal into a kick start breakfast.

Reliable nutrition sources

When it comes to collecting information on diet and exercise or even diseases you have to read scientific reviews and refrain from checking forums and unidentified web sources to limit misconceptions and that might impair your vision of health and wellness.

Books are always a good reference specially when written by professionals in the matter as well as medical websites. It is important to always consult your doctor and dietitian before undergoing any medical or diet changes.

Muffins

Muffins are one of my favorite snack , breakfast and desert idea. However size matters as small portions are advisable because sometimes when too large calories and fat accumulate making it a no no.

Today a huge array of healthy muffins are available so stay away from glazings and opt for oat, fiber or low fat fruit muffins.

Baking your own healthy muffin is very easy, all it takes is replacing regular flour with whole wheat varieties and white sugar with brown and reduce oil quantities to make them low in fat and calories.
