Cherries are the yummiest fruit ,as a child i used to have fun putting cherry as earrings.

They are packed with antioxidants and offer a lot of health benefits, they might also help in joint pain.Cherry juice is good for skin rejuvenation.Their potassium content regulates the heart rate and reduces risk of hypertension.

Frozen yogurt toppings mistake

Frozen yogurt is very trendy. It is a desert with a healthy base which is yogurt. It resembles the Greek way of eating yogurt mixed with honey and nuts. The available toppings in frozen yogurt chains renders that innocent snack a high sugar alternative. Industrial chocolate and biscuits are proposed instead of the traditional fruits and raw nuts. It is important to know which toppings to chose among the huge varieties presented. I always have my frozen yogurt plain with coco chips ,fruits, nuts and honey.

Muffin delight

What better than a spongy muffin for breakfast. There are a lot of declinations in muffin recipes you can have an oat blueberry or a chocolate chip muffin. The trick is choosing a low fat , low sugar recipe. I usually go for the skinny versions which are whole wheat or oat flour based. The best ones are even made with fruit compote instead of sugar which makes it all natural.

Fresh tuna salad

I have a crush on that salad ,it is a fresh and filling meal that i recommend on detox days it will keep you energetic after lunch.

Lola is a very nice restaurant in the Lebanese mountains of Naas and i happen to randomly chose this salad for lunch a year ago.

Tuna is a very good source of protein coupled with mustard seeds and greens it will provide your body with antioxidants, vitamins and fibers.

Maamoul, Easter sweets

Maamoul is a Lebanese sweet that is eaten mainly in Easter, it is high in calories and fat. People sometimes tend to eat it like biscuits which is not really the case because biscuits have fewer sugar and fat. Maamoul has three flavors tamer which is pureed dates, festok a mixture of pistachios and joz a mixture of almonds and walnuts.

1 maamoul a day is enough as it is similar to eating a desert.
